The film follows the initiation of apprentice mountaineers guided by high mountain guides, between the Mercantour massif, Sainte-Victoire, and Chamonix. It shows a more accessible and increasingly feminine practice, far from the elitist and dangerous image often associated with mountaineering.

"Face to the Void" won the Best Film award at the Transylvania Mountain Festival, with a premiere at the Cannes International Independent Film Festival.
The film was broadcast on France 3 Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and is available on Apple TV.
